Down Payment Assitance Program (DPAP) Coldwell Banker David Steven Company has been selected to administer this program for the city of Azusa. All applicants will be prescreened by our counselors to see if the basic qualifications are met. Qualified applicants will submitted for consideration to The City of Azusa for review by a loan comitee and final selection. Funds are limited, program is available only until the funds last.
The City of Azusa has passed a resolution to help low to moderate wage earners that live or work in the city to purchase their first home. It has been designed to meet the needs of low-income and moderate-income families with the necessary down payment assistance of up to $120,000. This program will provide a 2nd Trust Deed loan at 0% interest with all payments deferred until sale, transfer, refinancing, or full repayment of the first mortgage. Not all applicants will qualify. Pillars of the community may be awarded up to $140,000 as a silent second. See below for basic guidelines.
