Down Payment Assistance Program (DPAP)  

Coldwell Banker David Steven Company Selected As Business Partner for the City of Azusa First-Time Home Buyer Program

 Azusa, Oct. 8 2007 – The City of Azusa today announced that Coldwell Banker David Steven Company will be the city’s business partner that will screen all applicants for this first time home buyer program know as the Down Payment Assistance Program (DPAP).   Coldwell Banker David Steven Company will ensure that the applicants are qualified with the California Finance Housing Agency (CalHFA), the Los Angeles Community Development Corporation (LACDC) for the second deed of trust, if applicable, and secure a mortgage credit certificate. 

The purpose of the DPAP is to provide Azusa residents, in particular those members of the community that contribute to the vitality of the City, the opportunity to purchase an affordable home within the City.  The goal of the DPAP is to provide assistance to a low to moderate income home buyer up to $120,000 as a silent second and to “pillars” of the community such as teachers, fire fighters, police officers and other qualified professionals can receive up to $140,000.  For more information go to www.homeNloan.com and select the “affordablehousingblog” tab for eligibility requirements and program details or stop by to our Coldwell Banker David Steven Company office located at 631 N.
